Let us discuss the COVID-19 vaccine for children

Sonia Gulia, Kusum K. Rohilla, Mahendra Kumar, Raman Sharma.

Abstract
A large number of COVID-19 vaccinations are now being licensed for use in children, even though the majority of them are exclusively intended for adults (18 years and older). When creating their COVID-19 immunization policies and programs, countries should consider the individual and population benefits of immunizing children and adolescents in their unique epidemiological. Immunizing children and adolescents is less urgent than immunizing older individuals, those with chronic health conditions, and healthcare professionals because they typically have milder disease compared to adults, unless they are in a group at increased risk of severe COVID-19.

Key words: Immunization; COVID-19 vaccine; Children; Adolescents.
